Do you know who he is? Apparently, Bully Ray is doing more for TNA than was initially seen Thursday night on iMPACT.
Last week, during TNA iMPACT’s debut on AMC, TNA and WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray appeared on the show to do commentary during the main event of the show between Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian. But we’re now learning there was much more to his appearance than that.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Bully Ray helped produce the backstage segments that featured WWE Superstar AJ Styles interacting with Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian before the main event.
Ray also reportedly led a rah-rah speech of sorts to pump up the roster before iMPACT went on the air that was well received by those Sapp spoke to.
The two sides are having conversations about potentially continuing the relationship.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
