While this week’s WWE RAW had a crossover with Stranger Things, Becky Lynch walked in paying tribute to another major franchise.
Becky Lynch had a successful night on this week’s episode of WWE RAW as she defeated Maxxine Dupri to regain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, that wasn’t the only mark The Man made at the event, as she paid tribute to her Star Trek character with her attire.
According to recent reports, Becky Lynch is playing a bridge officer named Lieutenant Ya in the upcoming sci-fi series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is set to debut on Paramount+ this year. The first look at her character was revealed in November 2025. Her in-ring gear from this week’s episode of RAW is inspired by the uniform her character wears in the series.
Becky Lynch Might’ve Hinted At A New Alliance
Ahead of her match against Maxxine Dupri on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Becky Lynch met Dupri face-to-face last week. During the segment, Lynch noted that she achieved prior success by overcoming mountains and injustices placed in front of her. She then confidently asserted that she would emerge victorious, saying, “It is not over. It is never over until I win, and I always find a way to win.”
Wrestling fans called attention to this particular line on social media, saying it mirrors the opening voice in the theme song of WWE NXT star Jordynne Grace, which says, “It’s not over until I win.” They have begun speculating that it could lead to a potential alliance between Lynch and Grace.
In recent weeks, multiple NXT Superstars advertised as free agents were signed to the main roster brands. Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans were signed to SmackDown and RAW, respectively, and Jordynne Grace is expected to be the next.
She did appear on last week’s SmackDown in a backstage segment with General Manager Nick Aldis, but she didn’t sign a contract. If Becky Lynch’s alleged tease is anything to go by, the former TNA Knockouts World Champion might show up on RAW and ally with the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion. However, nothing is confirmed so far.
