A WWE legend compared Madonna’s dancing to vintage Goldust.
An X/Twitter user posted a short clip of Madonna dancing in one of her concerts and asked people to describe it in a few words. The video showed the 67-year-old singer in a metallic outfit performing squatting and hip-thrusting moves.
Replying to the post, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash hilariously compared Madonna’s dancing to vintage Goldust. AEW star Dustin Rhodes, who portrayed the Goldust character in WWE, replied to Nash’s comment, saying he was sexier than that.
“I thought it was vintage Golddust,” Kevin Nash wrote.
“Im sexier than that lol,” Dustin Rhodes replied.
Dustin Rhodes Said He Was Scared To Do The Goldust Character In WWE
Speaking with Nadine Smith for Texas Monthly last year, Dustin Rhodes opened up about playing the Goldust character in WWE. He explained how it made him take risks and shared how the “magic” happened when he was scared.
“Not every night is going to be one of those top-notch magical nights where the stars align and everything goes perfect,” Dustin Rhodes said. “But you can have many of those moments over your career if you just continue your growth, continue studying, and not be scared to step outside of your comfort zone. That’s another big thing that I’ve learned since Goldust. I was terrified to do that character, and it felt way out of my league. But it’s when I was scared that the magic happened. Just take a chance. You might surprise yourself.”
Dustin Rhodes’ last appearance in AEW came on the July 31 episode of Collision, where he lost the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher. He underwent double knee replacement surgery in August and is not planning to return to the ring until he’s fully healed. The former Goldust also recently provided an update on his recovery.
