Penta Comments On Injury Sustained On WWE RAW

Penta says he will be back to fight another day.

Monday’s episode of RAW featured a match between Penta and Solo Sikoa in the Last Time Is Now tournament. During the bout, Penta attempted a hurricanrana off the barricade, but landed awkwardly on the landing. The match was abruptly stopped, and the match was awarded to Sikoa as a result of Penta being deemed medically unfit to continue.

Now, Penta has commented on the injury, thanking fans for their support since the incident took place. Penta didn’t confirm details about the injury or how long he would be out, but said that he’d be back “soon” to finish what he started. He also praised Sikoa, who maintained his professionalism in the ring despite being visibly shaken by it.

“Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me. This injury tested my body and my spirit, but it also awakened the strength that has always guided me,” Penta wrote on his Instagram stories. “I am a forged Mexican warrior, forged in struggle, honor, and heart. And though the fall was hard, I rose with a fire stronger than ever.

“To my rival, my deepest respect. Thank you for your professionalism and for a clean, dignified battle. I recognize your dedication and honor.

“I will be back very soon, stronger, more prepared and determined to finish what I left pending. Thank you for standing with me… because this war still has chapters to be written.”
