John Cena will be competing on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW in Madison Square Garden.
Following his final appearance as a wrestler in his hometown of Boston on November 10, new Intercontinental Champion John Cena is heading to Madison Square Garden for the November 17 episode of WWE RAW.
The event will mark John Cena’s final appearance on WWE’s flagship weekly show. The venue also holds a significant spot in the 17-time WWE Champion’s career, as it was at Madison Square Garden where Cena won his first championship in WWE when he defeated The Big Show for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 20.
Netflix recently released a trailer for John Cena’s final WWE RAW appearance and mentioned that the Intercontinental Champion will be in action at the show. Now, Cena himself has taken to X/Twitter to confirm that he will compete at the event. His post read:
“Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET!”
There are no details about who John Cena will be facing on WWE RAW, and it will be interesting to see if he will bring back his iconic open challenge one last time at Madison Square Garden.
John Cena Reflected On His Final Appearance In Boston
After his appearance on the November 10 episode of WWE RAW in his hometown of Boston, John Cena took to X/Twitter to reflect on the moment and thanked the Boston fans for their support over the years.
“Thank you Boston. It meant so much to be able, for one last time, to be allowed an opportunity to do what I love, in a place I love, surrounded by those I love. Our performances are only meaningful if YOU the audience invest in us and decide they are. The smile on my face and awe in my eyes in this small clip is an honest show of grateful disbelief & appreciation for all you’ve ever invested in me. Last night meant more than I can ever express.
