Dominik Mysterio isn’t letting his father ever beat the ‘deadbeat dad’ allegations, it seems.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion recently asked a young fan if his father was a deadbeat like Rey Mysterio.
A clip, uploaded to Reddit, shows Dominik greeting a toddler before asking him if he was a Rey Mysterio fan. The young fan slipped a smile to let Dom know what he thought about his question.
At the point in the clip, the kid’s father pops up in the frame, prompting Dominik to jokingly ask the kid if his dad was a deadbeat like Rey Mysterio.

WWE announces Dominik Mysterio match for Backlash 2025
Dominik Mysterio will be in action at the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event.
WWE announced during RAW’s broadcast this past Monday that Dominik will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Penta at the May 10 PLE. Dominik won the title at WrestleMania 41.
He retained his title via controversial means on the RAW after WrestleMania with a little help from a returning JD McDonagh. Penta would get his payback against JD with a win on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW.
