Joe Hendry Blindsided by Trick Williams on TNA Impact, New Match Added To Under Siege

The former WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams attacked Joe Hendry on TNA Impact.

The show opened with Joe Hendry addressing this weeks chaotic attacks by Trick Williams at TNA Rebellion over the weekend. Hendry, who had seemingly traveled to NXT to call out Williams, was ambushed by Dark State.

On TNA Impact, Hendry declared that TNA boasts the best roster in the world. He challenged Dark State to bring it if they wanted to, but otherwise, he called out Trick Williams directly. When Williams’ music hit, he appeared on the screen, but he wasn’t in the building, as he was preparing for the battle royal next week on WWE NXT.

Trick Williams issued a warning to Joe Hendry, saying he’s keeping a close eye on tonight’s show especially on Hendry. He acknowledged Hendry’s main event match and hinted that it sounded like a major showdown. Williams also noted Hendry’s shoulder injury and hinted that it might be the perfect setup for someone to get hurt, urging him to be cautious.

In the main event, Joe Hendry teamed up with the Hardy Boyz to face The Nemeth Brothers and Frankie Kazarian. As Hendry’s team gained momentum, Hendry hit Nic Nemeth with the Standing Ovation and set him up for Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb.

Suddenly, Trick Williams appears from under the ring. He pulled Hendry out of the ring and attacked him. This leds to Nic Nemeth capitalized by hitting Jeff Hardy with the Danger Zone, securing the win for his team.

After the match, TNA tag team champions, The Nemeth Brothers, and Frankie Kazarian celebrated on the ramp. Williams then ran in and attacked Hendry by hitting a Trick-Shot.

After the show, TNA confirmed Williams would compete in a tag team match at its Under Siege special event in Ontario. Williams and Frankie Kazarian will join forces to face off with Joe Hendry and Elijah in tag team action.
