It’s almost time for WWE RAW!
WWE arrives at the Xcel Energy Center for the final RAW before SummerSlam. The company has already announced a couple of matches for this week’s episode of the red brand.
Here’s what’s on tap for 7/29 RAW.
Xavier Woods vs. Karrion Kross
Xavier Woods has been on his even ever since Karrion Kross took out Kofi Kingston. The former King of the Ring joined forces with Otis and Tozawa to take on Final Testament on 7/22 WWE RAW. Unfortunately for Woods and his teammates, Kross and the Authors of Pain emerged victorious.
Woods demanded Adam Pearce to book him in a one-on-one match against Kross. The match was made official on the spot and Woods gets Kross inside the ring tonight. Can Woods put an end to the madness that has been plaguing him for weeks, or will Kross put away Woods just like he did Kingston?
Six-woman tag team match on WWE RAW
Sonya Deville successfully convinced Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark to have her by their side. The duo watched as Deville made a successful in-ring return on 7/15 WWE RAW. The pair would join forces against Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. Tonight, the two teams collide in a six-woman tag team match.
Akira Tozawa & Otis vs. The Creed Brothers
The Creed Brothers aligned themselves with Chad Gable previously on RAW. All three men tried to take out Bo Dallas but were interrupted by The Wyatt Sicks. The Creeds would deliver a beatdown on Tozawa and Otis after the latter refused to join Gable and his new group.
While the Creeds and Gable decimated Otis and Tozawa, Master Gable ended up on the receiving end of a Sister Abigail by Uncle Howdy. Will the Sicks show up when Brutus and Julius take on Tozawa and Otis tonight on the red brand?
Bronson Reed vs. Sheamus on WWE RAW
Bronson Reed picked a bone with Sheamus several weeks ago on RAW. Both men delivered hard-hitting action on 7/15 RAW. The match ended with a win for the Celtic Warrior. With Sheamus also engaged in a feud with Pete Dunne at the same time, can the former multi-time champion make it 2-0 against Reed?
Seth Rollins gives his referee instructions to Drew McIntyre and CM Punk
CM Punk is cleared to compete, and he can’t wait to get his hands on Drew McIntyre. The Second City Saint announced he was medically cleared previously on WWE RAW. Punk told McIntyre to get inside the ring, but the Scottish Warrior said their match needed a much bigger stage.
Adam Pearce made the match official for SummerSlam. The RAW General Manager delivered another blockbuster announcement by revealing Seth Rollins as the special guest referee for the highly-anticipated match-up.
The Monday Night Messiah comes to the Xcel Center to deliver his referee instructions to Punk and McIntyre tonight. Can Rollins control both men from putting their hands on each other until SummerSlam, or will we see another bloodbath en route to the Biggest Party of the Summer?
Finn Balor vs. Gunther
If you thought the final episode of WWE RAW before SummerSlam couldn’t get any bigger, you were wrong. Tonight’s episode will see Judgment Day’s Finn Balor take on King of the Ring, himself, Gunther in rare televised action.
Both men have only met each other twice before, with both matches being Royal Rumble. Can Balor halt Gunther’s momentum before SummerSlam, or will the Ring General stand tall days before he takes on Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship?
WrestleZone will have full coverage of RAW as it airs.
