Dustin Rhodes Confirms His AEW Contract Expires In September, Hopes To Retire On His Own Terms

Dustin Rhodes sets the record straight.

Dustin Rhodes, 55, has been working as a wrestler/coach in AEW since 2019. He has been wrestling for over three decades, and he has had prominent runs in WCW, WWE, TNA, and AEW.

In a tweet, Dustin Rhodes responded to a post that cited rumors about how he was expected to leave AEW when his contract expired in September. He stated that his contract was up in September, but he was “absolutely not done.”

Rhodes said that he hoped he would get to retire on his own terms. He also expressed his hope that negotiations would go well.

Rhodes last wrestled on the June 12th episode of AEW Dynamite, where he lost to Jack Perry.
