Triple threat tag team match on WWE NXT
This week’s episode of WWE NXT features a star-studded triple threat tag team match. Last week, Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice formed an unlikely alliance to fend off Lash Legend, Miss Jackson, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx.
All six women will collide in a triple threat tag team match next week. Can Roxanne and Vice co-exist ahead of what could be a singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship at Heatwave?
Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Michin – NXT Women’s North American Championship
Kelani Jordan made history at NXT Battleground. The new Women’s North American Champion was interrupted by Jaida Parker last week. However, Miss Parker failed to beat Michin in their singles outing on WWE NXT.
Later, Michin told The Good Brothers she got herself a shot at Kelani one-on-one. Can the former Mia Yim claim her first singles gold in WWE, or will Kelani continue her Women’s North American Champion run?
25-man Battle Royal for NXT Title Shot
Cody Rhodes told Trick Williams his next challenger will be determined in a 25-man battle royal on 6/18 WWE NXT. Rhodes also teased the arrival of non-WWE talents in the match-up. The announcement came days after TNA’s Jordynne Grace unsuccessfully challenged Roxanne for her title at NXT Battleground.
NXT’s Tatum Paxley walked into the ‘prohibited portal’ by answering Jordynne’s open challenge for the Knockouts Championship at TNA Against All Odds. However, Tatum failed to dethrone Jordynne for her title at the June 14 PPV event.
