Bryan Danielson aims to go out on top.
On the June 5 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson and his Blackpool Combat Club defeated Team CMLL. In a backstage interview after the match, Danielson reflected on his string of losses capped off in big matches. He noted that he was disappointed in the way 2024, which he said would be his final year of wrestling full-time, was going.
Danielson then turned his attention to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. He said this would be his last chance to go out on top. Danielson said that it might be his last shot, but it will be the best shot he’s ever had.
The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will receive a world title shot at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. The tournament finals will be held on July 10.
