Former WWE star Shelton Benjamin has been linked to AEW since his release in September 2023. He says he would love to work there, and he is open to anything.
Speaking with the Daily Star, Shelton Benjamin was asked about potentially joining AEW or TNA.
“I’m always open to working with any of those companies,” Shelton Benjamin said. “There’s a business aspect of it, to me. That’s how I approach it. So yes, I’d love to work in AEW. I’d love to work in IMPACT [TNA] There’s really, I don’t put a limit on where I would go. I’m open to all of these places. New Japan is still my favorite company outside of WWE, and I say WWE because I have so many friends still there. But again, I’m open to everything. I’m open to everyone.”
Benjamin is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, among other accolades. Across two runs, he was with WWE for nearly 20 years.
