Kyle O’Reilly was a member of one of the most popular stables in NXT history in The Undisputed Era. With three-fourths of the group also in All Elite Wrestling, O’Reilly acknowledges the group does have one dream match they’d like to participate in.
Speaking to Fightful during a recent interview, O’Reilly was asked about a potential match between The Undisputed Era and The Elite, All Elite Wrestling’s stable of The Young Bucks and Adam Page (and now Kazuchika Okada). O’Reilly said it would be a dream match for all involved, but he doesn’t know if it’ll ever happen.
“Yeah, certainly is a dream match for a lot of people, including us,” said O’Reilly. “It’d be amazing to do one day. I know the headline now is going to be ‘Kyle O’Reilly Teases Match…’…these things are out of our control. Injuries, what have you, creative decisions, booking, I mean so many factors come into play when these things get decided. Whose to say, it may happen, it may never happen, that’s out of my control. All I can really do is be prepared for if and when it does happen, to knock it out of the park as they say.”
Before O’Reilly can focus on potential dream matches, he’ll have to step into the ring against a former Undisputed Era member in Roderick Strong. The two will face off at AEW Dynasty, where O’Reilly will be trying to beat Strong for his AEW International Championship.
