Thunder Rosa is ready to work with Mercedes Moné.
“The CEO” Mercedes Moné officially made her AEW debut on March 13, putting the entire women’s division on notice. During a recent appearance on Busted Open, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa noted that she’s looking forward to seeing if Moné can back up her claim of bringing a revolution to the company.
“There is a lot of hope that she is going to be a member who brings a lot of difference in the locker room and everything she has accomplished for who she is,” Rosa said. “She definitely has a lot of influence in the world of entertainment. And I think a lot of people are pretty eager to work with her. I include myself in that. When you have players like that coming into the arena, it will be interesting to see if she will be able to say and do what she said, which is a revolution. I’m really excited for that.”
It remains to be seen when Moné will make her AEW in-ring debut as she has already teased battles with Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale.
Meanwhile, it seems Rosa is potentially returning to the Women’s World title picture after pinning Toni Storm in a tag team match on the March 20 Dynamite.
