All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the December 8 episode of AEW Rampage.
Tonight, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against Angelico. This will be Cassidy’s first singles match on AEW programming since he beat Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear on November 18. He has competed in tag team matches in recent weeks.
Elsewhere in the night, Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia will compete in the AEW Continental Classic, Abadon will take on Trish Adora, and more.
The results are as follows:
Match 1: Orange Cassidy defeats Angelico via pinfall
Cassidy retained the AEW International Championship in a stellar opening match. Things came to an end after chaos began taking place, with Danhausen and Serpentico interfering for their respective friends. However, Cassidy was able to land the Orange Punch on Angelico late after Danhausen punched Serpentico and secure the win.
Match 2: Abadon defeats Trish Adora via pinfall
Abadon took this one pretty quick, ending things with a finisher for the win. Afterward, the lights went out, and TBS Champion Julie Hart was in the ring with Abadon. Hart laid down the TBS title between them, and the lights went out again, and when they came back on, both were gone.
Match 3: Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs defeat Matt Sydal & Christopher Daniels
This one came to a close after Hobbs hit his big slam finisher on Daniels for the win, ending a pretty quick match.
Match 4: Bryan Danielson defeats Daniel Garcia via submission
The AEW Continental Classic’s Blue League match ended with Danielson fighting it out in a hard-fought win. This one came to an end after Danielson got Garcia down on the mat and then locked in the Lebell Lock. Garcia wouldn’t give in, however, and held on as long as he could before he passed out and lost.
