Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will not return until 2024.
PWG last held an event with PWG TWENTY: Mystery Vortex on August 13. The event marked PWG’s first show since January. The promotion has not held another show since.
In a post on the promotion’s official Twitter page, PWG booker and co-owner Super Dragon posted an update. He acknowledged that there have not been many events this year. He stated that his girlfriend has been battling cancer, and it has been incredibly difficult for him to focus on anything else.
Super Dragon wrote that things recently took a turn for the worse, and he needs to take some time away from wrestling. As a result, there will be no more PWG events in 2023, and the company will aim to return as soon as possible in 2024.
