The self-proclaimed Buff Barbie, Tiffany Stratton shockingly lost her NXT Women’s Championship on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old star recently commented on her title loss.
Stratton put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against former WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. This was the main event of the night. Both stars put on a hard-fought battle. They seemed to have studied their opponent very well as both managed to counter each other’s signature moves early in the match.
Tiffany Stratton looked to pick up the win by hitting the Prettiest Moonsault Ever but The Man countered it and hit the Man Handle Slam and picked up the win by pinning the Buff Barbie.
Stratton initially captured the NXT Women’s Championship at the Battleground Premium Live Event by defeating Lyra Valkyrie. Since then she successfully defended the championship a whomping ten times. Out of which four times have been on live television.
Following her loss, Stratton was devastated. She took to Twitter to reflect back on her title loss. The former NXT Women’s Champion mentioned that this is not going to be the end of her. She has come a long way to be one of the top stars in the promotion. The 24-year-old WWE Superstar assured the wrestling fans that this is just the beginning of her career.
“The only time you’ll catch me looking back is to see how far I’ve come, and I’m only just beginning,” Tiffany Stratton tweeted.
By defeating Stratton, Becky Lynch joined the elite list of Grandslam champions. The stars in the list are Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Merceded Moné, Asuka, and Rhea Ripley.
