Adam Pearce announced during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown that a tag team tournament would begin next week, with the winners getting a shot at the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
Backstage during tonight’s episode, Pearce was met by the Banger Bros.’ Drew McIntyre, who demanded they get a shot against the Viking Raiders. Afterward, Sheamus then demanded a shot against the Usos as well, causing an argument to pop up between the two tag teams.
Pearce eventually broke up the group and said that he can make everyone happy at once, as there’s going to be a tag team tournament beginning next week, with the winners getting a shot at The Usos and their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Better still, Pearce said, the Bangers will get the Viking Raiders in their first match next week.
