AEW Rampage Results (11/4/22): Orange Cassidy Takes On Katsuyori Shibata

All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on November 4.

In the matches, Orange Cassidy will defend his AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Katsuyori Shibata, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter will team up to take on Madison Rayne and Skye Blue, and we’ll also hear from Ricky Starks, who says he has some things he wants to discuss with the world of All Elite Wrestling.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Orange Cassidy (c) defeats Katsuyori Shibata via pinfall

In a stellar opening match, the reigning AEW All-Atlantic Champion retained his title, taking down Shibata with an emphatic win. Late in the match, the two superstars began trading blows with one another before Cassidy was able to land back-to-back Orange Punchs, the second of which was finally enough to knock out Shibata and give OC the win.

Match 2: Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter defeat Madison Rayne & Skye Blue via pinfall

In a relatively quick match, Baker and Hayter made short work of their opponents, with Hayter taking down Rayne quickly with a lariat for the win. Following the match, Baker began talking trash about Toni Storm, and Storm came running down to the ring, kickstarting a huge brawl that ended with Baker hitting Storm with the AEW Interim Women’s Championship, and Hayter holding the title up with a foot placed firmly on Storm.

In-ring segment: Ricky Starks

In the ring, Starks said that he’s officially entered the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, and said that he’s going to hold up the world of All Elite Wrestling on his back even when it look slike things are crumbling. He then said he would be walking out of AEW Full Gear as the number one contender to the title, and also took some shots at the likes of Jon Moxley and MJF in the process.

Match 3: Wardlow and Samoa Joe defeat Gates of Agony via pinfall

In another relatively quick match, the end of the show saw Joe quickly knock out Toa Liona outside of the ring while Wardlow absolutely dominated inside of it. The match came to a swift end with Wardlow hitting the Powerbomb Symphony on Kaun inside of the ring for the win.

After the match, Powerhouse Hobbs came down to the ring, and stared at both men from the ramp. Wardlow gave Joe a bit of a shove to try and get closer to Hobbs, and Joe looked at him a bit angrily as the show came to a close.
