WWE SmackDown viewership increased on October 10.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.243 million viewers tuned in on Friday, which is up from last week, when 2.207 million viewers tuned in on September 30.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.54, which equals last week’s rating in the same demographic.
SmackDown was up against the MLB Wild Card Game and college football on ESPN 2 and FS1. MLB ranked #1 in the demographic.
MLB Wild Card on ESPN (0.99) was #1 for Friday.
College football on ESPN2 and FS1 also went head-to-head with wrestling.
Smackdown was up from last week. Rampage had its lowest total viewership since Jul and lowest P18-49 since Aug.

This week’s episode was the special season premiere of the show, and it featured a confrontation between Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. In the main event, Sheamus challenged Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Solo Sikoa battled Ricochet, and Legado del Fantasma arrived on the blue brand.
