The Countdown to IMPACT Bound For Glory got a little “dirty”, as Dirty Dango, formerly known as Fandango, surprisingly appeared on the show.
On the pre-show ahead of he pay-per-view, IMPACT Digital Media Champion held an open challenge, and Dango answered it. After a hard-fought bout, Myers pinned Dango to retain the title.

Dango previously spent several years in WWE, first as Johnny Curtis and later as Fandango. He memorably faced Chris Jericho at WWE WrestleMania 29. Fandango later won the NXT Tag Team Championship in 2020. WWE released the duo in a wave of cuts on June 25, 2021. He subsequently returned to the independent scene, and he has been featured on NWA TV.
