Wardlow will defend the TNT Championship on the October 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In a tweet on October 3, “Mr. Mayhem” issued an open challenge for the title, daring someone “remotely close” to his level to step up.
I dare someone to challenge me for the TNT title this Wednesday at the anniversary show. Someone remotely close to my level. Just show up, I’ll be waiting @TonyKhan @AEW #AEWDynamite #IDareYou
