WWE is loading up the card for the September 6 episode of WWE NXT 2.0.
In the aftermath of NXT Worlds Collide, Tuesday’s show is set to feature two singles matches.
As announced during the premium live event on September 4, Wes Lee will face JD McDonagh. Lee previously called the latter creepy, and the former Jordan Devlin responded that he’d rather be a little “creepy” than emotionally fragile like Lee. During NXT Worlds Collide, Lee previewed the match by noting that if McDonagh wants to get weird, he’s ready for it. He noted that he’s not afraid to venture into the darkness, which is what McDonagh seemingly likes to do.
Plus, Axiom will face Nathan Frazer in a Best of Three Falls match on Tuesday. The bout was initially set for NXT Worlds Collide, but it was not part of the card on Sunday’s show.
