AEW Dynamite Viewership Sees Big Increase On 6/29, Demo Rises As Well

AEW Dynamite viewership rises again on June 29 for the Blood & Guts special event.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 1,023,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.36 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the June 22 episode, when 878,000 viewers tuned in. The demo increased from last week‘s episode which also drew a 0.31 rating in the same demographic.

With the increase in viewership and demo, AEW Dynamite took first place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. The numbers put them well ahead of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with Orange Cassidy taking on “All Ego” Ethan Page. The main event saw The Blackpool Combat Club defeat The Jericho Appreciation Society in Blood & Guts. This match took up the entire second hour of the show and was quite the spectacle to behold. Unfortunately, Santana suffered a knee injury during the match, his current status is unknown.
