This week’s episode of Being The Elite ended with a segment that served up some compelling teasers.
At the end of the show, Hangman Page met up with the Dark Order for the first time since he lost the AEW World Championship to CM Punk at AEW Double or Nothing. He bumped into his friends and explained that he was going to get a “broom”, a clear reference to “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega. He then apologized to the group and said that he never properly thanked them for lifting him during his pursuit of the title. Hangman noted that he got “wrapped up” in the pressure of being the champion and emphasized that he was sorry.
Evil Uno responded by saying that they’ll always be friends, while Alex Reynolds told Page that they all just want him to be happy, belt or no belt. On that note, Uno recalled how they were on the scene when Page won the title, and even then, it didn’t seem like he was happy. Uno told Hangman that he hopes he finds what makes him happy, and it doesn’t seem like the title is it. Page then weighed in on the conversation the group was having before he arrived; they were talking about the Forbidden Door and wondering about the differences between doors and windows. Hangman noted that doors often have handles, so they can be opened, whereas windows have to be slid open and closed.
When asked about the Forbidden Door specifically, Hangman gave his friends a map to it. His parting words were that he was going to go “find some brooms.” The Dark Order then looked at the map, which offered a rather unique set of directions to the Forbidden Door.

On Twitter, some fans noted that Page had aviator glasses with him, which seemed to be another reference to Omega. “The Cleaner” has been sidelined since Page beat him for the title at AEW Full Gear in November; he’s been recovering from surgery on a variety of injuries, and it’s unclear when he’ll return.
