Nobody is ready for Asuka, not even Big Time Becks.
Former RAW Women’s Champion Asuka made her return during last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW, where she confronted fellow former champion, Becky Lynch.
The 4-time champion made her first appearance on WWE programming since competing in the women’s Money in The Bank ladder match in July 2021, and ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ wasted no time in making her intentions clear when appearing on RAW Talk following last night’s show.
“I came back here. I stopped Becky Lynch. I have come back for the RAW Women’s Championship…because nobody is ready for Asuka!”
Lynch, recently dropped the aforementioned RAW Women’s Title to current champion Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38, earlier this month.
After Asuka’s comments, Kevin Patrick spoke with Sonya Deville, who unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship on Monday. Asked where she goes from there, Deville took time to admire herself and focused on being quick on her feet, rather than the loss. When asked about a possible investigation into abusing her power, Deville says she’s by the book and they’d find nothing.
