Mike Tyson‘s latest “fight” could be billed as “The Baddest Man On The Planet vs. The Dumbest Motherf-cker On The Plane.”
Mike Tyson was involved in a scuffle at San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday night, as he ended up punching a man that had been heckling him on his flight. TMZ first reported details of the incident, which ended with Tyson leaving the plane after he repeatedly punched the man who’d been harassing him.
According to the report (along with supporting video from other passengers), a man seated near Tyson asked him for a photo, to which Tyson agreed. Tyson was said to be cordial at first, but then the man’s friend, who was seated behind Tyson, kept talking and provoking him. Tyson reportedly told the man to relax and leave him alone, but the man wouldn’t stop, so Tyson ended up hitting him in the face with several punches.
The man ended up with a bloodied forehead and received medical attention, and Tyson was said to have left the plane moments after the incident. Tyson was in town for a cannabis festival at Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park to promote his Tyson 2.0 line of cannabis products, and the flight was ready to depart for Florida.
According to TMZ, the man who was punched went to the police after the incident, but neither SFPD nor Tyson’s representatives have responded to requests for a statement as of now. TMZ later updated the initial post and noted a source claimed the man who was hit was heavily intoxicated and wouldn’t stop provoking Tyson in his seat.
