There are plenty of fan comparisons at times when it comes to the NBA and WWE. Being a big NBA fan, R-Truth decided to get in on the fun.

R-Truth recently sat down with Brandon Robinson of the Bally Sports Network to discuss all things WWE. When asked to name the Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James of professional wrestling, R-Truth had some pretty surprising answers:

“I’d say The Rock would be Michael Jordan. Roman Reigns would be Kobe, and Randy Orton would be LeBron James,” R-Truth said. “Randy’s badass. Randy can go! And I named those guys Randy and Roman because those are guys that I find myself — I’ll sit at the monitor and I watch them because there’s a technique to wrestling. It’s like an art. It’s like painting and it’s like a dance and wrestlers have that. Randy and Roman… they can tell a story that can compel you and draw you in and Roman and Randy can do that. It’s certain wrestlers that can do that and wrestling has so many different levels to it man… you can call me the Elvis Presley of this joint, you know what I’m sayin’? These guys are like, maestros at it. Randy Orton and Roman Reigns; watching them is like watching a painting being painted by Norman Rockwell.”

Surprisingly given their history, R-Truth didn’t name John Cena on that list. When asked who would win a rap battle between himself and Cena, R-Truth offered an interesting response:

“I mean, it depends on who you want to win,” R-Truth began.” His music ain’t better than mine, I can tell you that now… but, I’m that baddest thing happening right now; I’m that baddest thing since grits! So, it’s like that! I don’t compare myself to anybody because I’m one of my own kind, you know what I’m sayin’? I’m not worried about competition. I got my own lane. You can’t compare nobody else to me because there’s only ONE of me.”
