Cain Velasquez will step back in a wrestling ring this December and it will be for AAA Lucha Libre. The Mexican-based promotion announced via social media that the popular UFC star will be competing in trios action as he teams with two of the company’s top talents in Psycho Clown and Pagano to face Luchador Sorpresa, Taurus & Rey Escorpion. The bout will occur on December 4 at Triplemania Regia at Estadio De Béisbol Monterrey.
The AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega will also be on the card in a featured main event against Hijo del Vikingo. In addition, advertised in the Tweet are the Lucha Brothers to potentially face the Lee Brothers, but Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix happened to lose their AAA Tag belts to FTR on the 10/16 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Dorian Roldan of AAA did previously make mention that FTR could be involved, but an angle was played up where Dragon Lee & Dralistico had a confrontation with the Lucha Bros at AAA Heroes Inmortales.
