During tonight’s episode of NXT, Adam Cole and William Regal met via a video conference call, where Regal confirmed that Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream would be battling it out for the NXT Championship at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
In the call, Adam Cole wanted very strict rules before agreeing to anything, mainly that the other members of Undisputed Era who lost out on their NXT Tag Team Championships would have another shot. Regal agreed to that, and also agreed to not allowing Velveteen Dream another shot at the NXT Championship after this. He then told Cole that he would have to defend the title against Dream at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, at a location that Regal said would showcase both their skill and the gravity of the championship as well.
With this potentially being Dream’s last chance at the title, it’ll be interesting to see what setting Regal chooses, and just how ready both superstars will be when the time comes.
It will be #NXTChampion @AdamColePro vs. @DreamWWE for the #NXTTitle at #NXTTakeOver: In Your House… in a ??????? of #WWENXT GM @RealKingRegal's choosing! ?
