On this morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, it’s being reported that last night’s AEW Dynamite was aired from Cody Rhodes’ home state of Georgia and because of the upcoming shelter-in-place enforced by the governor due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Dynamite crew will have to find another location to film next week’s show.
Meltzer is reporting that AEW did happen to record some matches in advance while on location yesterday evening in case outside factors beyond their control do come into play. Advertised for next week are the opening rounds of the TNT Championship tournament that include Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears, Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes vs. Kip Sabian and Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana.
The shelter-in-place issued by Georgia Governor Kemp will begin on April 3 and run through April 13.
