All four members of the Undisputed Era recently spoke with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT. In the interview, the group discussed their match with Imperium at WWE Worlds Collide and their invasion of NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.
NXT Champion Adam Cole called NXT TakeOver: Blackpool an unforgettable night. “We never lose sight on stuff like this,” said Cole via McCarthy. “I love surprises in wrestling, that’s one of my favorite things. So to be involved in something where everyone in that building had no idea we were there and then we showed up, then there’s that reaction like ‘oh my god, they’re here’ and they’re really excited – that’s one of the most coolest things.”
Former NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong discussed how much the meant meant to the group. “Imperium has been doing great over in NXT UK, but it was kind of an opportunity to raise their stock against us and that’s special,” said Strong via McCarthy. Per McCarthy, Strong said the Undisputed Era could help take Imperium to a level in a match like the one they had at WWE Worlds Collide. It’s safe to say Imperium benefited from their rivalry with the Undisputed Era, as evidenced by their victory at WWE Worlds Collide.
