In professional wrestling, the news cycle slows down a bit during the holiday season. But there are still some noteworthy happenings, so here’s a look at what’s going on in the world of professional wrestling.
WWE superstar Sonya Deville recently spoke with Julius Young of Fox News. (The full interview is available here.) In the interview, she reflected on her WWE career. Deville also discussed how she feels about her future with the company. “‘I think that everyone has a time in life, in general and especially in the WWE,’” said Deville via Young. “There is a time and a place for everyone’s climb and rise to the top. And I think that you haven’t seen Sonya’s peak yet, obviously.”
Deville also discussed how she feels she’s viewed as a WWE superstar. “‘I feel respected,” said Deville via Young. “‘I feel like the fans want to see more for me…and I think that’s cool that they want to see more and I think it’s cool that they haven’t gotten to see more yet because it just makes them appreciate it when it does come.'”
Next, after WWE’s official YouTube channel offered a look at some of the top returns of the decade, Matt Hardy commented on the Hardy Boyz’s inclusion on the list. In the tweet, he writes that he doesn’t think the two of them are currently considered “top-level talent.”
Thanks for the inclusion, @WWE. I know we aren’t currently considered top-level talent, but this return left an INDELIBLE mark on pro wrestling history. In terms of legit shock & surprise, as well as happiness & triumph, this one tops the list for many. https://t.co/qtyO3Bqjcr https://t.co/Vho74y4POs
