Creative Plans For The Revival Going Forward
According to The Wrestling Observer, the immediate plans for The Revival is to transition them into becoming comedy characters. There are reportedly mixed feelings about this change backstage and it could still get cancelled.
Dash Wilder tripping during his ring entrance a few weeks ago was the starting point of this character change as both members of The Revival are down to the final months of their contract. They have not agreed to new deals despite being offered a significantly higher payday. Both members have been dropping many hints over the past few months that a transition to AEW might be in the works. In fact, the duo posted a picture with AEW’s Private Party tag team just recently.
