NXT had another strong showing tonight on SmackDown Live, as all four of the Superstars that debuted on last night’s RAW were victorious tonight.
Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano and Ricochet all came up with another win, each winning their respective matches. Shane McMahon started tonight’s show saying he was impressed with all of them, so he invited them back for tonight’s show. Black ended up beating Andrade in tonight’s opening contest, blocking a hammerlock DDT and hitting Black Mass for the win.
Later in the night, Ciampa and Gargano faced off with The Bar, who didn’t appear to take the NXT talents very seriously at all. Ciampa and Gargano ended up with the last laugh, however, as they won their tag team match. Finally, Ricochet ended up beating Sanity’s Eric Young, overcoming the early numbers game by hitting a 630º for the win.
