Apollo Crews won a battle royal on the New Year’s Eve edition of Monday Night RAW to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

After Seth Rollins didn’t receive his rematch for the title, Shane McMahon ordered a battle royal to determine who will challenge Dean Ambrose for the IC Title later tonight. Among the challengers involved were a portion of the RAW roster, including Baron Corbin, Finn Balor, The Lucha House Party, Heath Slater, and The B Team. Crews would last eliminate Corbin, earning his spot against Ambrose.
