Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler
Seth Rollins hits Dolph a few times and applies a headlock, then Dolph breaks it and sends Rollins outside. Seth counters Dolph and whips him into the barricade as we head to a break.
As Ziggler battles out of a headlock, he goes for a DDT before Rollins goes for a superkick. More reversals and finally Dolph gets a backslide and hits a Famouser for two. Dolph bounces off the ropes, but the champion rolls him up and picks up the surprise win.
Dolph and Seth were booked very safe tonight. They hit a few of their signature moves, but the match seemed to be more about Seth finding a way to win on his own. Sunday is a HUGE night for him. He MUST win by himself, proving that he belongs. Especially since Brock Lesnar is looming and will return sooner rather than later.
Seth Rollins needs to get some much needed momentum. I would not be against pairing an actual bodyguard type guy with him as well. As long as it is believable and not two cruiserweights or Kane.
What is Going on in the Divas Division?
On Raw, Nikki Bella picked up a win and Paige was nowhere to be seen.
On Smackdown, Paige picks up a win and Nikki Bella is nowhere to be seen.
It is the week heading into a championship match and the opponents are nowhere near one another. Can you explain this logic? This feud is missing something. It is missing a STORY. We love Paige, as well as how far Nikki has progressed. Paige and Nikki are so different, so the story can be simple. Instead, WWE has avoided even giving it a good effort. Maybe, just maybe, we are in for something unique. I highly doubt it.
Also, where the hell has Naomi been? She takes the loss at WWE Elimination Chamber and then is not seen? Seriously, I am not sure that this is a good call. You put week after week of effort into her heel character and she takes a few weeks off. Is she hurt? Is she surprising us all? They have rarely mentioned her name.
