#3.) “Stone Cold” Steve Austin confronts Santa Claus
Steve Austin’s popularity reached new heights in 1998 and he was by and far the biggest star of the company by the end of the year. Santa Claus came out for a segment, only to be interrupted by Austin himself. Similar to The Rock, he had the crowd completely in control (to a level of which has never been seen since, with the exception of Daniel Bryan).
Austin confronted Santa and suspicious as to whether he was the real Santa, asked him what he wanted as a gift when he was six years old. As you can imagine, Santa didn’t impress Austin one bit, and the Christmas icon was then a victim to a stunner. The segment was absolutely hilarious and seeing Santa attacked like that is something that can only happen in pro wrestling!
