In Ring Segment: The Authors of Pain
Akam and Rezar say they want a challenge tonight. They want anyone… but Titus World Wide. So of course, Titus World Wide comes out. O’Neil says they know that the AoP is legit. They also have a lot to learn here in the WWE. O’Neil says he just wants to help them out. Akam says what can he teach them? How to fall down? Apollo Crews puts of O’Neil as a great teacher. Crews says AoP needs to give O’Neil respect. Akam says maybe they spoke too soon. Akam says maybe there is something O’Neil can do. He can walk away and retire. O’Neil says sometimes to you have to go a different route when trying to teach a lesson. O’Neil decks Rezar and Crews takes out Akam.
In the parking lot, Angle tells Stephanie that he couldn’t be more proud to be the Raw General Manager. Corbin and Owens walk in. Corbin says he needs Stephanie to address this Strowman thing. Owens says this whole thing has been hard and that Angle let this thing run out of control. Owens asks for a match against Strowman at SummerSlam. Owens says it doesn’t matter how Strowman loses. It can be DQ count out or whatever. If Strowman loses, Owens gets the Money in the Bank briefcase. Angle says that’s absurd. Stephanie says she kinda likes it and books the match.
