Tommaso Ciampa comes out and brags about winning the NXT Championship, saying all he needed was one moment. Ciampa picks a fight with an old woman in the crowd, gloating about how he always wins and Johnny Gargano loses again. Aleister Black comes out to attack Ciampa, but Gargano runs past him and attacks Ciampa first. Gargano says this won’t be Ciampa’s NXT as long as he’s still around, then Black knocks Gargano out with a kick.

Velveteen Dream comes out and cuts a promo on EC3, saying he doesn’t bother them at Burger King, so they shouldn’t bother him there. He says they are used to having it their way, but it’s his time now. EC3 versus Velveteen Dream is confirmed for Takeover Brooklyn
Johnny Gargano vs Aleister Black
– Tommaso Ciampa attacks both men and the referee throws the match out. William Regal comes out and announces they’ll meet in a triple threat title match at Takeover Brooklyn
