Miz tells everyone to take a moment and go look at the sky. The stars will look a lot like this (Miz holds up the IC title). 2018 is going to be the year of The Miz. In Miz’s first match back he beat Reigns for the IC title. The Raw it happened on was the highest rated in three years. Why? Because of The Miz. The next week Miz did it again. Reigns is elite but he still couldn’t contend with Miz. Miz takes credit for the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. All that said, the best is yet to come. Miz will win the Chamber and go on to face Lesnar. At WrestleMania, the world will be watching and his daughter will be born in time to witness the first ever Universal/IC champion, The Miz.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/Bo Dallas vs Apollo Crews w/Titus O’Neil and Dana Brooke
We join the match in progress. Crews hits a delay vertical suplex. Miz kicks out. Crews takes Miz over in a sunset flip. Miz kicks out. Crews and Miz trade pin attempts. Spinning back elbow by Crews. Miz kicks out again. Miz rolls out to the apron. Crews tries to bring Miz back into the ring but Miz stuns Crews on the top rope. Miz dives off the top but Crews catches him with a dropkick midair. Miz surprises Crews with a knee to the gut. Miz hits the ropes but Crews lifts him into an Ultimate Warrior-style gorilla press slam. Crews attempts a standing moonsault but Miz gets his knees up.
Crews surprises Miz with a head kick. Enziguri by Crews. Another kick out by Miz. Miz tries his corner clothesline. Crews catch Miz and hits a belly-to-belly. Standing moonsault followed by a standing shooting star press for yet another near fall. Miz tries to sneak in the Skull Crushing Finale. Crews counters into a roll up. Miz kicks out. Miz whips Crews into the corner. Crews tries a leapfrog but Miz catches Crews’ feet and crotches him on the top rope. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
