Backstage, John Cena (via Twitter) says that to pave your road to WrestleMania you have to have a plan. Cena says he just has to beat Elias and Strowman tonight to give himself the best chance at paving his road to WrestleMania.
Asuka vs Bayley
Asuka takes down Baylay. Bayley manages to counter into an armbar. Asuka reverses that into an armbar of her own. Bayley gets to her feet. Bayley hits a shoulder block. Asuka screams in Bayley’s face as she doesn’t go down. Bayley slaps Asuka. Asuka takes Bayley over with an arm drag. Asuka kicks Bayley in the back over and over again. Bayley whips Asuka into the corner. Asuka hops up to the top rope for a dropkick but Bayley knocks her off to the outside. Bayley dives through the ropes and hits a hurricanrana that sends Asuka into the barricade. After the break, Asuka tries a hip attack. Bayley catches Asuka in midair and hits a back suplex. Asuka kicks out. Bayley drops an elbow on Asuka’s back. Asuka lands a few elbow strikes. Asuka hits a pop-up knee to the face.
Asuka kicks Bayley in the gut, then in the back of the head. Basement hip attack followed by a sliding knee for a near fall by Asuka. Asuka goes up top and misses a dropkick. Bayley hits the ropes and smashes Asuka with a William Regal-like knee trembler. Bayley sends Asuka to the apron. Asuka puts Bayley in the Asuka Lock. Bayley hits a rope hang stunner. Bayley tries a dive off the apron but Asuka knees Bayley in the head. Asuka sends Bayley back into the ring and gets another near fall. Bayley almost hits the Bayley-to Belly. Asuka counters into the Asuka Lock. Bayley flips over into a pinning combo. Asuka kicks out at 2.9. Bayley gets up and walks right into a flying armbar. Bayley struggles to get to the ropes. Bayley is trapped. Bayley has no choice but to tap out.
Winner- Asuka
After the match, Asuka shakes Bayley’s hand.
