New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that tickets for their Long Beach return will go on sale at 1pm EST on January 29th. Tickets will be available at www.longbeachstate.com/njpw.
Negro Casas Injured
CMLL star Negro Casas suffered an unspecified injury and will not be participating in this year’s Fantasticamania tour.
Teams For Brothers Tag Team Tournament Announced
As mentioned earlier, Fantasticamania 2018 will feature a Brothers Tag Team Tournament, featuring teams comprised solely of siblings. The finals of the tournament will be held on 1/22.

Goto Says The NEVER Title Is “Waiting” For Shibata
During the a post-match press conference NEVER Openweight Champion Hirooki Goto said that his belt would be “waiting” for injured wrestler Katsuyori Shibata. While Goto is set to defend the title agains EVIL at New Beginning In Osaka, he’s been outspoken about wanting to return the belt to the violent days of his and Shibata’s rivalry.
“I have a strong bond with Shibata. I don’t know where he stands, but if I hold this belt, he can find me. But, we don’t know what the reality is. But this belt will be waiting for him.”
Katsuyori Shibata suffered a Subdural Hematoma after a vicious headbutt during the main event of April’s Sakura Genesis. He is not expected to wrestle ever again.
