Backstage Segment
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is asked who he would rather face between Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura, and he says it doesn’t matter. He says he represents Asia better than Nakamura ever could because he stands for the 1.3 billion people in the greatest country on earth. Jinder says may the better man win, and may that man fall to the Modern Day Maharaja.
Baron Corbin vs. Tye Dillinger
Corbin left the ring to talk a little trash with AJ Styles, who was on commentary for this match. Dillinger came flying through the ropes to take him out, and immediately started wailing on him in the barricade. They brawled back into the ring and Dillinger dumped him over the ropes once again, as Tye is feeling it!
After a commercial break Corbin levels his opponent with a big lariat, but Dillinger comes right back and starts firing off on him with rights and lefts in the corner. Corbin has had enough and takes him to the floor, tossing him into the barricade over and over again. They roll back into the ring as the Lone Wolf once again spends too much time focussing on AJ Styles on commentary. He tries for the End of Days but Dillinger rolls him up in a school boy for a close nearfall. The Perfect 10 hits a series of perfect mounted punches in the corner, but the Corbin connected with a wicked right hand and a cheap shot while the ref was distracted. This time the End of Days connects, and that’s all she wrote.
Winner: Baron Corbin
