THE NEW DAY vs. THE COLONS
It’s Xavier Woods and Big E teaming for the New Day in this one, as Kofi Kingston cheers them on from ringside. The Colons got in zero offense at the start as Woods took control of Epico, then tagged in Big E to just manhandle him. E put him in a side stretch, and Woods came in to cut off Primo and put him in the same hold, as the two started slapping some booty. Finally the referee made them stop and Xavier started playing the trombone as we go to commercial. Good to have the New Day back…
During the break the Colons double teamed Woods and threw him into the ring post to finally get an advantage in the match. The kept cutting off the hot tag until Big E finally made the hot tag and wrecked both brothers, running through them with ease. They tried to double team the big man, but they easily shook it off and hit the Midnight Hour to pick up the win.
Winners: The New Day
The trio celebrated their win in the ring until The Usos came out and welcomed them to the Uso Penitentiary. The twins talk some fairly unintelligible trash, running down each of them one by one. It’s a very intense promo – but I have no idea what they’re talking about. Something something Day One Ish. The two teams stare each other down as we build towards the tag team title match at Money in the Bank.
