Backstage Shane McMahon finds the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal statue just standing there. Mojo Rawley comes up to him and vents his frustrations about being benched for the last two months. He says winning at WrestleMania was the greatest moment of his life, but he’s the only person that’s beaten Jinder Mahal since he came to Smackdown Live. He says he deserves to be used, and if not he’ll find someone who’ll use him. Shane agrees and puts him in a match against Jinder tonight, and if he can beat the champion, he’ll be added to the MITB ladder match.
AJ STYLES vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER
They go back and forth from the start, trading right hands as Styles launches into a series of elbows and stiff strikes. Neither takes total control, going move for move as we go to another commercial break. They’re still trading moves, going back and forth as the show comes back from ads. Ziggler almost stole the match with his feet on the ropes, but the referee caught it in time. Styles went to argue with the referee asking what happened, and got caught with the Zig-Zag, but managed to get his shoulder up just in time. AJ comes back and hits a pele kick, goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but comes up empty. More back and forth until eventually Styles finally connects with the Styles Clash to pick up the win and get his revenge.
Winner: AJ Styles
