WWE Smackdown Results (4/25): Naomi Defends Women’s Title Against Charlotte, Beat the Clock Challenge, Jinder Mahal Makes a Statement

We have a pre-recorded message from Rusev, for the first time since he was drafted to Smackdown Live. He said that he does not like General Manager Daniel Bryan. He also does not like Shane McMahon. He said the only way he’s making his in-ring debut is with a championship match at Money in the Bank (which is in…June), so until then if he doesn’t get what he wants, he’s packing his bags and heading back to Bulgaria.

We cut backstage where Becky Lynch is being interviewed about tonight’s match between Charlotte and Naomi. She’s cut off by all the heels – Natalya, Tamina Snuka, Carmella and James Ellsworth – who say that she’s gone back and forth on her stance on Charlotte, and they want to know exactly whose side she is on. They tell her to choose carefully before walking off.

No Disqualification Match

Randy Orton vs. Eric Rowan

They start throwing rights and lefts and the brawl quickly goes to the outside. Orton takes control, throwing Rowan into the barricade, off the side of the ring, and suplexing him onto the announce table. Rowan counters an Irish whip and sends the champion crashing into the steel ring steps, rolling him back into the ring and connecting with a big splash in the corner. He hits a big running dropkick for two and goes under the ring for a kendo stick. Rowan hits him with three shots from the kendo stick, stalking Orton around the ring. He goes back to the floor and this time grabs a table, which wakes up the crowd a bit. Rowan sets up the table on the floor and tries to suplex Orton over the ropes, but he fights back and blasts him with the kendo stick, sending him crashing through the table on the outside, as we head to commercial.
