Eric LeGrand –

LeGrand thanks the crowd and god for giving him the power to make it the trial and tribulations he has gone through. LeGrand goes on to thank Triple H for being his friend. After meeting Triple H, he started a show to tell the story of people who are in the same situation that he is in. On October 10th LeGrand life changes forever. During a series of unfortunate events, he tackled a player with the crown of his head and he was left lying. He couldn’t move or breath. That night they Doctors said he would never walk again and he would be eating through a feeding tube. His mother said no one could work with him if they didn’t have a positive attitude. After being told he would never breathe on his own he did. LeGrand says since he has been able to make it this long, it’s his job to help everyone who has this type of injury to survive and hopefully walk again. LeGrand says Christopher Reeves may be gone, but he is going to carry the torch and hopefully create a world without wheelchairs. LeGrand lists the various wrestlers who inspired him as a youth, including Stone Cold Steve Austin. LeGrand thanks the WWE and says he hopes he could represent the Warrior properly and that he will walk again one day!

Jerry “The King” Lawler –

The next inductee is best known for his dynamic tenure as the Smackdown General Manager.

The APA-

JBL says the main thing they have learned tonight is that when you give a bunch of old guys a mic they forget the most important phrase in wrestling. Ron Simmons says: go home. JBL says that he was afraid they would end up inducting Theodore Long into the 2018 Hall of Fame. JBL says with all jokes aside Long is the cheapest man on the planet. Simmons pulls out a list that says Long owes them both 72 thousand dollars. Nevermind the time Long spent as the GM, his most important job was driving around the GodFather and the APA. Simmons says he remembers the time Long ended up with a felony, but that was because he was driving while black. JBL says that is actually a true story. The APA had gallons of beer and Long had nothing to drink for a week, but still ended up getting locked up. People don’t realize that Long wasn’t just around for the Civil Rights Movement, but he was also around for the Civil war. Simmons says he caught Long trying to exchange confederate money at the airport.
