Bobby Roode and Elias Samson vs Buddy Murphy and Tye Dillinger
Before the match starts, Samson is about to sing a song, but the crowd boos him. Samson says if they keep booing he won’t sing his song. They crowd boos louder. Samson says he loves the sound of his own voice, so this one is for him. Samson sings a song.. about something.
Murphy and Roode kick off the match. The crowd is going nuts for Murphy and Dillinger. Roode takes down Murphy and rides his back, before doing the “Glorious” taunt in Murphy’s face. Murphy turns around and whips his hair in Roode’s face and does the “Glorious” taunt, but yells ” Aussie, Aussie, Aussie”. Tackle drop down spot leads to Roode attempting a sunset flip that Murphy rolls out of and dropkicks Roode in the face. Murphy tags in Dillinger. Roode squares up, but tags in Samson to avoid facing Dillinger. As Samson gets in the ring, the crowd chants “Drift away”, which is pretty freaking hilarious. Samson locks in a hammer lock. Dillinger reverses it and whips Samson down to the mat, does a cartwheel and does the perfect 10 taunt in Samson’s face. Dillinger puts Samson in an arm lock. Murphy dives off the top and knees Samson in the arm. Murphy drags Roode into the ring and Dillinger stomps him. Dillinger picks up Samson for the Tye Breaker, but Roode distracts him long enough for Samson to get out of the hold.
