Daniel Bryan & Dean Ambrose Backstage Segment:
Dean Ambrose in his referee’s shirt and Bryan thanks him for showing up. Ambrose is ready to referee tonight’s main event. He’ll do it right down the middle. Bryan was going to send someone out for him. Ambrose can’t be referee tonight. Ambrose says he was a good referee. Bryan says that Ambrose can’t be involved in this match tonight, but he can be guest time keeper, ring announcer or color commentator. Ambrose says that he’ll do that. Bryan is not sure which option Ambrose is going with.
Sixth Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. James Ellsworth for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Ambrose was the special guest ring announcer and time keeper. Ambrose continues to ring the bell to confuse Styles. Ellsworth applies a wrist lock. Ellsworth goes for a hip toss, but Styles continues with the abdominal stretch. Ambrose says that this match will have to stop due to a commercial break. Styles with a snap mare into a rear chin lock. Styles drops Ellsworth with a big right hand. Ambrose would like use to redirect us to the titantron screen that’s showing James Ellsworth shirt on WWEShop.com. Styles launches Ellsworth into the corner. Styles with a forearm smash to Ellsworth.
Styles dropkicks Ellsworth. Styles drives his elbow to the back of Ellsworth. Styles continues to talk smack to Ambrose. Ellsworth drives Styles into the corner. Styles plants Ellsworth with a snap suplex into the turnbuckles. Styles lands a knife edge chop. Styles places Ellsworth on the top rope. Ellsworth goes for a flying crossbody, but Styles ducks out of the way. Styles with a roundhouse kick to the chest of Ellsworth. Styles stomps on Ellsworth chest.
Styles tosses Ellsworth out of the ring. Ambrose rolls Ellsworth back into the ring. Styles again tosses Ellsworth out of the ring. Ellsworth whips Styles jaw first to the top turnbuckle. Ellsworth Superkick’s Styles for a two count. Styles plants Ellsworth with a spine buster. Styles fires up with a series of forearms. Styles stomps on Ellsworth chest in the corner. Ambrose says that Styles kicks like a soccer mom. Styles with a collection of more forearm strikes and gets himself intentionally disqualified. After the match Ambrose plants Styles with the Dirty Deeds.
Winner: James Ellsworth via DQ, but Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles
